Generating momentum on Pakistan-related activities at the University of Oxford.

OPP Visionary Leadership

About The Programme

The Oxford Pakistan Programme (the 'OPP') is the first initiative of its kind through which a concerted effort is being made to generate momentum on various Pakistan-related activities at the University of Oxford.

Built on an unconventional model of fundraising, we deliver high-impact initiatives on a spend-down basis. Funds raised for the OPP are ring-fenced and held within the University of Oxford to protect their security and integrity.

Why Is The OPP Needed?

Despite a deep historical connection, Pakistanis and British Pakistanis remain underrepresented at Oxford. Financial constraints are the primary barrier to entry for the brightest minds.

0 Scholarship Deficit Students every year cannot accept Oxford offers because they cannot afford it.
0 Annual Cost The typical annual cost of a graduate degree at Oxford, including university fees and living expenses.

Our Core Objectives

Student Support

Support Students

Address the underrepresentation of Pakistani and British Pakistani students at the University of Oxford through scholarships and targeted mentorship.

Academic Exchange

Promote Exchange

Facilitate deep academic exchange between Oxford University and Pakistan's leading institutions of higher learning to bridge global knowledge gaps.

Build Leadership

Build Leadership

Develop a world-class pipeline of thinkers across science, economics, and humanities who can reimagine and reshape the nation's future.

Model and Vision

Support for OPP activities is being secured for the next five years to create a "proof of concept" that can be institutionalised on a long-term basis.

Our mission is built on joining up small donations to deliver transformative change, ensuring every contribution directly facilitates the journey of a scholar.
