Oxford Pakistan Programme

OPP Scholars 2023-24

On the celebration of Pakistan’s 76th Independence Day, the Oxford Pakistan Programme(OPP) is pleased to announce its graduate scholarship awards for 2023-24. This year, OPP is supporting 11 exceptional scholars from a broad spectrum of academic domains. It is our hope that the OPP Scholars go on to become leaders in their diverse fields, uplifting their communities, and Pakistan, through academic excellence and the spirit of public service.

Over the past three years since its inception, the Oxford Pakistan Programme has demonstrated remarkable success in fundraising efforts, raising over £2 million in pledges. The programme has forged valuable partnerships with prestigious organizations such as the Commonwealth, British Council, Blavatnik School of Government, Linacre College, Law Department, Lady Margaret Hall, Malala Fund, the Third Wrangler Fund, HEC and the University of Oxford.

These collaborative efforts have enabled the OPP to make a significant impact, delivering over £450,000 (over Rs. 16 crore) in 2023 alone. The OPP is now the largest privately funded scholarship programme for Pakistani origin students in the world.
