OPP's 2024โ€“25 Cohort

The Oxford Pakistan Programme announced its graduate scholarships for the 2024โ€“25 academic year on Pakistan's 77th Independence Day. The OPP supported 12 exceptional scholars from diverse disciplinary backgrounds โ€” from law and social sciences to engineering and medicine.

This cohort includes students from Sindh's Khairpur and Dadu districts, Balochistan's Loralai, and several British Pakistanis, reflecting OPP's mission to address both regional underrepresentation within Pakistan and the severe underrepresentation of British Pakistanis at Oxford's graduate level.

Founded four years prior, the OPP had by this cohort become the fastest-growing academic platform in any major Western university dedicated to creating scholarship opportunities for Pakistani-origin students.

"The OPP will support twelve exceptional scholars from diverse disciplinary backgrounds โ€” from law and social sciences to engineering and medicine โ€” who have the potential to be future leaders in their respective fields."
