About the Scholarship
The Oxford Pakistan Programme and the Balochistan Education Endowment Fund are delighted to announce the Benazir Bhutto Graduate Scholarship — a transformative initiative dedicated to empowering students from Balochistan to study STEM subjects at the University of Oxford.
The scholarship provides comprehensive financial support, covering tuition fees and living expenses, for talented students from Balochistan to pursue graduate studies at Oxford. This initiative aims to open doors to global opportunities for deserving students, ensuring quality and equality on par with elite institutions worldwide.
This scholarship honours the legacy of Benazir Bhutto and reflects the vision of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti to uplift the youth of Balochistan through world-class education.
The scholarship was officially announced by Chief Minister Bugti at OPP's Annual May Dinner and Fundraiser held at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford in 2024. Special acknowledgement goes to Imran Zarkoon Khan, Principal Secretary and Oxford alumnus, whose pivotal role and unwavering commitment to education in Balochistan made this scholarship a reality.
How to Apply
